FAQ - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CBD
What is CBD?
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a natural compound extracted from hemp, also known as cannabis. Unlike THC (Delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol), another well-known molecule in the plant, CBD does not produce any psychoactive effects.
Discover the soothing benefits of CBD: a natural solution to help you manage anxiety, stress or chronic pain — all without unwanted side effects.
Our carefully selected and lab-tested CBD products combine purity, effectiveness, and safety. Choose a healthy and natural alternative to take care of your daily well-being.
What is the difference between CBD and THC?
Cannabis contains several hundred active compounds called cannabinoids, each with its own effects and characteristics. Among them, the most well-known is THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the molecule responsible for the psychotropic effects. It is this molecule that alters the state of consciousness and produces the sensation of being "high."
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is another cannabinoid found in the plant. Unlike THC, it does not produce a euphoric effect. While it may have a mildly relaxing effect, CBD acts primarily as a regulator: it tempers the effects of THC, notably by calming the nervous system. In short, CBD does not produce a "high" and does not alter perception.
What effect does CBD have?
Research on CBD and its effects on the human body is still in its early stages, and the necessary scientific perspective is currently lacking to draw definitive conclusions. However, initial studies suggest that cannabidiol could offer significant therapeutic benefits.
Among its potential effects, CBD is believed to have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It may also help to soothe anxiety, alleviate depressive states, and promote better sleep.
Some research even suggests that at high doses, CBD could slow the proliferation of tumor cells in certain types of cancer, and help limit damage to arteries, particularly after a heart attack.
How to consume CBD?
CBD can be consumed in various ways depending on your preferences: as a sublingual oil for rapid absorption, as an infusion for relaxation, in capsules for discretion, or by smoking or vaporizing it in the form of flowers or resin. Each method offers a unique experience and allows you to fully enjoy the natural effects of CBD.
Where do the products we sell come from?
Our products come from carefully selected partners in France, Switzerland, and Morocco, all committed to ethical and responsible CBD cultivation. From artisanal farms nestled in the Rif Mountains to high-altitude Swiss plantations and French farms in the hinterland, each product is the result of passionate, local expertise. We also collaborate with renowned brands and committed artists who share our vision of high-quality CBD that respects both people and the environment.
Can I drive after consuming CBD?
CBD is not a narcotic and does not produce a high, so it does not impair your ability to drive. However, some products may contain very small traces of THC, always within legal limits. In the event of a roadside check, these traces may be enough to trigger a positive saliva test, even if you are not under the influence. As a precaution, it is therefore recommended to avoid driving after consumption to minimize any risk during a potential test.
